AD AND SUBTRACT?: Could Louis Vuitton have found someone new to head up its communications department? According to market sources, Frédéric Winckler is to join the leather goods powerhouse in March. Last month, Winckler resigned as chief executive officer at Paris-based advertising agency JWT, whose clients include Rolex.

Antoine Arnault, who was communications director at Vuitton, exited that role in early 2011 to take the management helm of luxury footwear specialist Berluti; while Pietro Beccari, who was Vuitton’s executive vice president, marketing and communications, has been ceo at Fendi since February.
