BACK AT I-D: Fiona Dallanegra has been named publisher of i-D magazine, the British fashion glossy that was purchased by Vice Media in December. Dallanegra’s appointment marks her return to the magazine. She was named fashion editor of i-D in 1997, and later worked for Chanel in Paris. She returned to the U.K. in 2011, where she worked as a consultant for luxury brands, according to Vice.

She will take up her role as publisher on April 2, and replaces i-D founders Terry and Tricia Jones, who sold the title to Vice Media, parent of the namesake magazine. “Fiona Dallanegra returning to i-D as the new publisher is a classic i-D success story. We’re delighted to welcome her back,” said the Joneses.

In September, i-D will launch a new, video-driven online fashion channel, “dedicated to exploring everything from high-end couture to the myriad of underground fashion scenes all over the world,” the statement added.

Original programming will focus on profiling personalities in fashion and culture; the intersection of fashion and music, film and design, and emerging trends and talent around the globe, among other topics.
