BOTKIER MEETS BELLA: Move over, Gigi. Botkier New York has tapped the Sports Illustrated model’s younger sister, Bella Hadid as the face of the brand’s spring 2015 campaign. “Bella truly encompasses the spirit of our brand — she is the Botkier New York girl,” said designer Monica Botkier. “She is that street smart, chic woman who is both edgy and sophisticated in an understated way. She makes every look her own in a striking yet simple way.” The campaign was shot in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood by Simon Cave, and depicts Hadid carrying a Botkier New York handbag against the New York skyline. “The mood for this season is youthful, fresh and full of life,” Botkier said of the campaign aesthetic. “Bella brings her own sense of style and savvy look to the brand. She is the girl running around the city in jeans and a T-shirt that looks effortlessly put together.” The campaign will focus on digital platforms, with two network partnerships: RocketFuel and Xaxis Media. Both platforms enable purchasing of ad space in real time to target specific consumers.
