From one creative mind to four: Brioni’s creative director Brendan Mullane has selected four contemporary artists to appear in the brand’s fall advertising campaign.
Labeled “Creative Minds,” the campaign hinges on portraits of four contemporary artists photographed by Collier Schorr through a casting in collaboration with art critic and curator Nicolas Trembley. The black-and-white images capture the different personalities of John Armleder, Karl Holmqvist, Tobias Madison and Seth Price. The artists were photographed between New York and Paris and pose either pensively looking at the camera, gazing away or in a spontaneous, spur-of-the-moment manner.
The four artists, with different backgrounds and nationalities and with established careers that span over diverse generations, wear a range of Brioni checkered suits, belted coats or cable-knit ribbed sweaters.
