BURO EXPANDS: Miroslava Duma is adding Australia to her burgeoning digital media empire.

The Moscow-based publisher of three year-old digital fashion and lifestyle magazine Buro 24/7 has signed a licensing agreement with News Corp Australia’s magazine arm NewsLifeMedia to launch a local edition of the site in April 2015, on the eve of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia.

The Australian edition will the website’s seventh global incarnation, after localized versions in Russia, Croatia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and the Middle East.

“Vogue Australia leads in the prestige women’s market in this country and our aim for Buro247.com.au is for it to work hand-in-hand with vogue.com.au in terms of scale and lead in the ‘masstige’ women’s market,” said NewsLifeMedia chief executive Nicole Sheffield.
