Condé Nast Entertainment has tapped Joe Sabia as head of development for its digital channels.
Sabia will report to Michael Klein, executive vice president of programming and content strategy of digital channels for CNE. He will be responsible for developing digital video shows on The Scene, CNE’s video hub.
Sabia is the creator and director of Vogue’s “73 Questions” series and Vanity Fair’s “Improv Imagination.”
Klein said of Sabia: “He is one of the most innovative, creative minds in the business and brings with him an outstanding list of accolades in digital storytelling. I’m looking forward to seeing where Joe’s creativity and vision take us.”
Sabia is the cofounder of YouTube music collective CDZA, a Webby-nominated music channel, CNE said, adding that the exec started his career at the interactive arm of HBO, where he created videos such as “Seven Minute Sopranos,” a viral video recap of all the seasons of “The Sopranos.”
