LONDON — Condé Nast Spain has named Eugenia de la Torriente its new editor in chief, succeeding Yolanda Sacristán, while Ana García-Siñeriz will also join the company as principal of Condé Nast College Spain, a new role. Both appointments begin immediately and both will report to Javier Pascual del Olmo, president of Condé Nast Spain.

De la Torriente joins the company from Harper’s Bazaar Spain, where she served as the editor in chief of the title. She was also the fashion editor of El Pais, and editor of El País Semanal and has worked as a professor and seminar speaker and wrote a number of fashion books.

“She is an outstanding fashion journalist,” del Olmo said. “Eugenia is one of the most respected fashion voices in Spain.”

A journalist and TV personality, García-Siñeriz was previously at Canal and CNN in Spain. She will manage the Condé Nast education program as well as its public relations, communications and special events. Launched in 2003, the Condé Nast College Spain offers a Vogue master’s degree in fashion and communication in collaboration with the University Carlos III in Madrid.
