LONDON — London-based style magazine Dazed named Isabella Burley editor in chief and appointed Robbie Spencer creative director.

Burley was previously editor of Dazed and joined the title as fashion features editor in 2013. Spencer, an 11-year veteran of the title, served as fashion director since 2013. Both Spencer and Burley’s new roles will encompass their previous roles.

In addition, Elizabeth Fraser-Bell and Emma Wyman have both been promoted to senior fashion editors.

Tim Noakes, formerly editor in chief of Dazed, will now serve as editorial director of Dazed and Dazed Digital. Noakes takes over from Jefferson Hack as editorial director of Dazed, while Hack retains the title of cofounder of Dazed Group and editorial director of AnOther Magazine and AnOther Man, the biannual style titles that are part of the Dazed Group.

Spencer, who has styled celebrities such as Lorde, Kendall Jenner and Lupita Nyong’o for Dazed’s covers, said that with his new appointment he intends “to build on the visual language we have developed…and take Dazed into the next phase of its evolution.” Burley, meanwhile, said that she aims to “build on the powerful editorial voice that has always defined Dazed, ensuring each issue showcases the unique voices defining culture right now.”
