LONDON — Edições Globo Condé Nast, a partnership between Condé Nast and South America’s Globo, has appointed Daniela Falcão managing director.
She will report to Jonathan Newhouse, chairman and chief executive of Condé Nast International, and will begin her new role in January.
Falcão served as the editorial director of Edições Globo Condé Nast, and oversaw a portfolio of brands. She was also editor in chief of Vogue Brazil.
During her time at Vogue, she focused on a “multiplatform strategy,” bringing in contributors such as Patrick Demarchelier, Giampaolo Sgura, Mario Testino, Ellen von Unwerth, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
Silvia Rogar, deputy editor of Vogue Brazil, will assume the role of editor in chief starting in January.
