Stephanie George, president of In Style, Real Simple and Essence, has been promoted to executive vice president of Time Inc.
George will retain her current duties as well as have oversight for corporate sales and marketing and the business side of the People Group and Entertainment Weekly. George will also continue to oversee Time Inc.’s partnership with the American Express titles. George will report to Time Inc. chief executive officer Ann Moore.
In addition, Nora McAniff will step down as co-chief operating officer while Sylvia Auton has also been named an executive vice president with responsibility for IPC Media and the Southern Progress Corp.
The changes take effect March 1.
