Condé Nast’s GQ added a trio of new hires to the masthead.
First up is Ross McCammon, a former senior editor from Esquire, who joins GQ in the same title, on June 13. For GQ, McCammon will edit service packages covering subjects such as style to gear, cars and travel. He will also work on GQ’s Manual section along with current senior editor Nick Marino.
The men’s glossy also tapped John Ortved, a freelance writer who has penned pieces for GQ, The New York Times and Vanity Fair, as senior associate editor. Ortved, who starts on June 20, will also contribute to the Manual section and write for the magazine.
Lastly, Paul Robertson has been named associate publisher of marketing, effective June 17. Robertson joins GQ from InStyle where he held the same title for the last four years. There, he oversaw a number of initiatives, including the InStyle Awards.
