Giving new meaning to a captive audience, Marie Claire will be whisking away 200 influential women for its Power Trip, a 36-hour in-flight networking and pop-up conference in San Francisco. Gwyneth Paltrow, Drew Barrymore, Tracee Ellis Ross, Tyra Banks and “Hamilton” producer Jill Furman are committed, as are Donna Karan International’s Caroline Brown, Lands End’s Federica Marchionni, Rebecca Minkoff, Misha Nonoo, Carolina Herrera’s Emilie Rubinfeld, Carbon38’s Caroline Gogolak and Lindsay Shookus of  “Saturday Night Live.”

Thanks to a partnership with JetBlue, there will be a plane carrying 100 guests from New York and 100 more will join them in San Francisco for the two-day junket. Power Trippers plan to leave after breakfast on March 21, spend the night at the W Hotel San Francisco and return in time for a late dinner on Tuesday. Cocktails at Xochi Birch’s house will be followed by a dinner elsewhere with Barrymore handling the wine pairings.“I’ve gotten more yes-es. It’s probably because the center of the universe is shifting to San Francisco or maybe has already shifted,” said Marie Claire editor in chief Anne Fulenwider. “The tech people are excited about the Hollywood people. The New York people are excited frankly to get some sunshine in San Francisco.”
