Hearst’s Digital Team made several editorial promotions on Thursday.

The digital arm of the publishing company elevated Michael Mraz, site director of Car and Driver and Road & Track, to the role of director of content operations for the men’s group. He will continue to oversee the aforementioned sites, in addition to Esquire and Popular Mechanics.

Cosmopolitan’s senior community manager, Elisa Benson, was promoted to social director for the young women’s network. That role will have Benson directing social media initiatives for the “young women’s” network, which includes the odd grouping of Cosmopolitan, Seventeen and Redbook, which traditionally serves an older demographic.

Last, Town & Country has tapped senior editor Ben Ryder Howe to become its site director. He will make the transition from working on the print magazine to his new digital job on July 15, Hearst said.
