CALLING ALL FASHION BLOGGERS: H&M and and Bloglovin’, the lifestyle social discovery platform, have teamed up to launch a global blogger mentorship program led by Leandra Medine, creator of Man Repeller. The series gives aspiring fashion bloggers a chance to win a mentorship with Medine, where they will learn how to distinguish themselves within the influential space.
Starting today, bloggers worldwide are encouraged to enter the program to be chosen as one of the five finalists who will be mentored by Medine on July 11 in New York at H&M’s corporate headquarters. Each finalist will receive one-on-one advice on furthering their careers as fashion bloggers. To enter, bloggers are being asked to create a blog or Instagram post that represents their brand and personal style incorporating their favorite H&M pieces.
After the mentorship day, one of the finalists will be named H&M’s Breakthrough Fashion Blogger of the Year at the annual Bloglovin’ Awards during New York Fashion Week in September. The winner will also be highlighted on H&M’s editorial platform, H&M Magazine.
This will be H&M and Bloglovin’s second year partnering to support the blogging industry, which has grown significantly in the past few years. From 2013 to 2015, it’s been reported that upward of 100 million more digital influencers have surfaced. Bloglovin’ has more than eight million registered active users and 750,000 registered bloggers.
H&M, whose nameplates include H&M, & Other Stories, Cheap Monday, Cos, Monki and Weekday, as well as H&M Home, has more than 3,900 stores in 61 markets including franchise markets.
