InStyle has teamed with Fandango for a new red carpet-inspired video series.
Based on Fandango’s “I Love Movies” video series, the InStyle collaboration gives viewers a look into the intersection of film and fashion.
According to the Time Inc.-owned InStyle, the Red Carpet edition of the video series will feature designer Isaac Mizrahi, celebrity stylist Micaela Erlanger, “Empire” costume designer Paolo Nieddu, Olivia Palermo and Ariel Foxman, who serves as editorial director of InStyle and StyleWatch.
For his part, Foxman will share his thoughts on how his favorite movies, such as “Love Story,” “Rosemary’s Baby” and “Clueless,” impacted his work and red-carpet trends.
Episodes will be available for viewing beginning Jan. 6 across the Fandango Movieclips video network, including Fandango Movieclips on YouTube, imovieclips.com, the Fandango Web site and mobile app and video channels on Hulu, AOL and Watchable, as well as on instyle.com/ilovemovies.
“Film has always had a striking influence on fashion. The world’s foremost designers have long used cinema as a source of inspiration,” Foxman offered.
Fandango’s chief creative officer Sandro Corsaro noted: “Awards season is the time of year when we celebrate the intersection of film, fashion and style on the big screen and on the red carpet. So it was a natural for us to team up with the experts at InStyle and produce a special fashion-themed edition of our ‘I Love Movies’ series with some of the greatest fashion and style icons of our time.”
