INTERIORS AND EXTERIORS: Stark modern architecture provides the backdrop for Ferragamo’s fall ad campaign featuring Daria Werbowy and Tyson Ballou. Creative director Massimiliano Giornetti tapped photographer David Sims for the London shoot. Stylist Marie-Amélie Sauvé was also at the ready, as were Paul Hanlon for hair and Lisa Butler for makeup.

Sims’ intention was “to create a feeling of organic continuity between architecture and nature,” according to the Italian company. To that point, the more impactful shots include images of windows that reveal linear interiors and reflect the impressionistic-looking trees nearby. Ferragamo’s fall clothes, bags and shoes, of course, are the main attraction. Fans of the brand will find a familiar face in the Ukrainian-born Werbowy, who has now headlined three campaigns.

This is shaping up to be a memorable season for Sims, who has earned high marks for the Prada campaign featuring Christoph Waltz. Earlier this month, the photographer’s wife Luella Bartley was named design director at Marc by Marc Jacobs.
