SPREADING THE LOVE: L.O.V.E. is in New York.
The French luxury brand consultancy created by Jérôme Faillant Dumas, which recently conceived the steamy print and film ads for Nina Ricci’s fragrance L’Extase, has opened for business Stateside.
Before founding the agency in 1997, Faillant Dumas was international artistic director for perfumes and cosmetics at Yves Saint Laurent. He subsequently worked closely with Christian Dior Parfums.
Having launched a collection of furniture and home objects under the Love Editions label in 2002, he has also taken on a number of high-profile interior decoration jobs, including the renovation of the famed Paris restaurant Le Grand Véfour.
Among L.O.V.E.’s most recent projects is the bottle design for Valentino’s Valentino Uomo fragrance and the Chaumet advertising campaign starring French actress Marine Vacth, which can be seen on www.agencylove.com. The New York office, opened last year, is headed by his business partner Benjamin Schafir.
