TABULA RASA: Lancel is heading for a fresh start for fall.
The French leather goods maker has teamed with photographer David Sims to shoot its upcoming campaign, following a four-season-long collaboration with Patrick Demarchelier.
Fronting the minimalist ads are two new faces — Vivien Solari and Andrew Cooper — who are replacing Malgosia Bela after the model’s three-season run for the French brand, which is repositioning itself in the lifestyle department targeting both men and women.
The ads, which are slated to break in the September issue of French Vogue, feature the house’s signature Charlie bag, along with two new designs — Le Huit, a bucket bag, and Bianca, a Seventies-tinged satchel.
For men, Lancel is launching Jack, a soft-leather briefcase.
