AND BABY MAKES SIX: Cookie editor in chief Pilar Guzman now has two reasons to scour the children’s market looking for the best in baby accoutrements. She welcomed her second son, with Details publisher Chris Mitchell, on June 24. Willem Claudio Guzman Mitchell joins brother Henry and extended family uncle Gregg Mitchell and aunt Andrea Chu in the Brooklyn brownstone they all share. (Their living arrangement was featured in The New York Times’ House & Home section in January.)

Chris said the new baby won’t mean trading up for larger digs, though, at least not until his brother Gregg decides to have kids. “When Henry was born, we didn’t all live together, so this is the first time [my brother and sister-in-law] have seen the first week,” Chris said. “Seeing us dealing with a newborn, it’s a lot less scary for them. My memory of Henry was, you’re sure you’re going to kill this thing in the first week. You can’t believe the doctors let you take them home.”

Henry, who clearly survived the amateur parenting, has been progressing with his swimming lessons at the Soho House pool this summer. “We were there almost every day this weekend,” Chris said. “He’s become known among the other parents. They say, ‘That’s Henry. He’s the one who won’t get out of the water.'”
