PARTNERS: Harper’s Bazaar and Yoox Group have signed an agreement that will establish Yoox Group as the primary partner of, a content-to-commerce online store that allows readers to shop the pages of the magazine. Products for sale are chosen by Bazaar’s editors. “As pioneers in the luxury e-commerce space, we’re excited about this new partnership, marking the next step for the first true experience of seamless shoppable content in the publishing industry via our innovative retail model,” said Federico Marchetti, founder and chief executive officer of Yoox Group, which also operates monobrand e-commerce sites such as and The Hearst title dove headfirst into ecommerce a year ago with its shoppable magazine pages platform. At the time of the launch, Bazaar partnered with Saks Fifth Avenue. Bazaar said its inaugural retail partnership with Saks ended in June.
