GROPPO APPOINTED: Pierre Groppo has joined Vanity Fair France as the editor of the fashion and lifestyle sections, effective in September, WWD has learned. Sybille Grandchamp previously occupied the position.

He will report to Virginie Mouzat, fashion lifestyle features editor in chief. Groppo comes from Vogue Paris where he was a features writer.

In 2014, the paid circulation in France of Vanity Fair was 101,292, according to France’s Circulation Audit Bureau. Vogue Paris’ paid circulation in France was 119,578.
