RAMY BROOK GETS A VIDEO NOD: Ramy Brook, the advanced contemporary women’s brand, was selected as a finalist in Digiday Video Awards’ “Best Advertiser in Video” category.

The company was nominated for its custom video card invitations that served as a sales and press tool for the brand’s spring 2017 collection. The company sent out about 500 invitations in August to buyers and the media inviting them to the showroom and Coterie. As part of the invitation, Ramy Brook Sharp, founder and creative director, narrated a four-minute video of who the company was, how they got started and what they stood for today.

Other finalists in the category are Cigna for “TV Doctors of America”; Laundry Service for Hennessy’s “Never Stop, Never Settle,” and Laundry Service for LG Mobile.

The winner will be revealed at the Video Awards Gala being at The Rubin Museum of Art in New York on Jan. 17.

Sharp said about the nomination, “We believe deeply in the strong consumer connections that are built through the powerful expression of our brand, product and people using the digital video medium. Our team put their hearts into such efforts and are honored to be named alongside such wonderful companies.”
