It didn’t take long for Ingrid Sischy and Sandy Brant to find new jobs. They have been named international editors of Italian Vanity Fair, German Vanity Fair and Spanish Vanity Fair, which will launch in September.

For the past 23 years, Brant served as chief executive officer, president and publisher of Brant Publications, which publishes Interview, among other magazines. Sischy had been editor in chief of Interview since 1990. Their interest in Brant Publications was recently sold to Sandy Brant’s ex-husband Peter.

“Ingrid and Sandy are deeply connected to the worlds of fashion, Hollywood and art and bring enormous journalistic experience and know-how to this new position, which has been created especially for them,” said Jonathan Newhouse, chairman of Condé Nast International. He also said that Sischy and Brant will work on future editions of Vanity Fair, when they are launched.

Sischy will also continue as a contributing editor to Vanity Fair’s U.S. edition.
