The Children’s Place launched an e-commerce component to their Facebook page Monday. The brands 519,162 “likes” now have the ability to shop the catalog in its entirety, fill up their shopping carts and even proceed to checkout and they never have to leave Facebook. However, users are transferred to for payment to ensure a secure checkout.

Ann Taylor’s Fan Videos:
The brand introduced yet another way to connect with fans via Facebook Monday. The brand’s new video capabilities, courtesy of VideoGenie, allow “likes” to share their thoughts by recording a webcam video and answering the question, “What’s Your Favorite Ann Taylor Item?” Once Ann Taylor approves the submission, it gets posted as the #1 video on the Fan Videos tab on Facebook and the lucky user gets a notification as soon as it becomes featured on the top spot.
