Nasty Gal founder Sophia Amoruso has already begun dabbling in media, but her latest tweet has some wondering just how serious the entrepreneur is about such endeavors.

The social media maven on Monday pondered aloud in a Twitter post “Is it cray to do a Kickstarter to launch Girlboss as a media site?”

A spokesperson at Los Angeles-based Nasty Gal could not be immediately reached for comment.

The GirlBoss site is currently home for all things related to Amoruso’s book #GirlBoss along with the foundation of the same name that provides grants to female entrepreneurs in the fashion, design, music and arts fields.

In January, Amoruso stepped down as ceo of the retail site she founded in 2006 originally as an eBay store hawking vintage wares to take on the executive chair position. Sheree Waterson stepped into the top spot, leaving Amoruso free to focus more on the creative brand-building side of the business and other projects.

Amoruso is expected to launch #Girlboss Radio Oct. 22 and comedian Grace Helbig is on the early roster of interviews lined up for the show.

There’s also Amoruso’s relatively new gig as contributing editor at Marie Claire. Her debut piece for the magazine appeared in the September issue.
