The New York Times has hired Elizabeth Webbe Lunny as publisher of T Magazine.

Lunny takes the role left open by Brendan Monaghan, who departed The Times late last year to become publisher and chief revenue officer of Condé Nast Traveler. Lunny’s hire rounds out the company’s team of ad executives devoted to T.

In the role, Lunny will oversee the luxury group and work with T editor in chief Deborah Needleman.

Lunny comes to The Times following positions at Women’s Health, Vogue, Condé Nast and WWD.

She most recently served as associate publisher of Women’s Health, and prior to that was ad director at Vogue, associate publisher of WWD and an executive sales director of Condé Nast Media Group. Earlier in her career, she had stints at Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue and Teen Vogue.

Lunny starts her new job today.
