BE HEARD: In celebration of Women’s History Month, Theory and Lola, a feminine-care brand, have partnered on a panel discussion that will take place March 27.
The panel will be moderated by Dee Poku, founder and chief executive officer of Women Inspiration & Enterprise Network.
The panelists are Tiffany Dufu, author and entrepreneur, Girls Who Code; Alex Friedman, cofounder of Lola; Glennda Testone, executive director, LGBT Community Center, and Melissa Wood, health and fitness expert.
The discussion takes place at the Fast Retailing Innovation Center at 2 Gansevoort Street from 6 to 7 p.m. The audience will consist of friends of both brands and top customers.
The theme of the event is “Be Heard,” and the conversation will be centered on empowering the next generation of female entrepreneurs and leaders. As reported, Theory and Lola collaborated on a limited-edition T-shirt that says “Be Heard” in celebration of International Women’s Day. Proceeds went to the Girls Who Code organization, which is dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology.
