ANOTHER SHUFFLE: Time Inc. is on a restructuring spree.

On Thursday, the publisher named People deputy editor Henry Goldblatt editor in chief of Entertainment Weekly. The move put former EW editor Matt Bean to work on native content in the corporate office. His official title is senior vice president of editorial innovation.

Will Lee, editor of People.com, was given the job of digital editorial director of that site, along with EW.com.

Bean will to report to executive vice president of global advertising Mark Ford and have a dotted line to chief content officer Norman Pearlstine, while Goldblatt and Lee will report to EW and People editorial director Jess Cagle.

Time Inc. also laid out a new corporate communications consolidation plan, in which senior vice president of communications and brand development Nancy Valentino and executive vice president of corporate communications Teri Everett were let go. Jaison Blair will expand his responsibilities as senior vice president of investor and corporate communications. Daniel Kile has been appointed to the new position of senior vice president of brand communications, while Susan Parks, senior vice president of marketing will oversee communications for People and Entertainment Weekly.
