The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences has unveiled the nominees for the 20th annual Webby Awards, which honors excellence on the Internet, including Web sites, advertising and media, online film and video, mobile sites and apps and social.

The organizations that earned the highest number of nominations this year were Vice Media (16), National Geographic (14), VRSE.Works (12), Google (11), HBO (10), The New York Times (10), Refinery29 (8), Guardian News & Media (8), CNN (7), PBS (7), CBS Interactive (6), CollegeHumor (6), Onion Inc. (6) and Team Coco Digital (5).

Voting is open to the public until April 21 and the winners will be revealed April 26. An awards ceremony will take place at Cipriani Wall Street on May 16, and the show will also be available on demand at webbyawards.com the morning of May 17. The Webby Awards video channel will feature the show highlights.
