CARA’S NEW GIG: To mark European online retailer Zalando delivering Topshop’s designs to far-flung European destinations, the two firms have collaborated on a television and print campaign featuring Cara Delevingne, who’s recently served as a face of Topshop. The films, which will go live Sunday, show Delevingne trying to pronounce the lesser-known locales that Zalando, which is headquartered in Berlin, can ship Topshop to, such as Clermont Ferrand, France, or Korschenbroich, Germany.

The spot was shot by director Gordon von Steiner in Los Angeles with stills by Kai Z Feng, and shows Delevingne against a stark white background wearing current Topshop designs, such as a bottle green boiler suit or high-waisted denim flares paired with a suede jacket, styled by Topshop’s creative director Kate Phelan. The images will appear in both outdoor and print advertising, while the film will be shown on platforms including Zalando’s international sites and Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and Google+. In addition to the Topshop campaign, von Steiner has directed Zalando’s spring ad called “Are You Ready?” which features Arizona Muse. Topshop and Zalando began their partnership in September, when Topshop and Topman opened branded shops within Zalando’s site.
