PARIS — Hermès International said today it has completed the acquisition of the entire share capital of its supplier, Natéber SA, a high-end watch dial manufacturer based in Switzerland, through its watchmaking subsidiary, La Montre Hermès.

“This acquisition enables Natéber SA to pursue its growth dynamic and vividly illustrates the ongoing strategy pursued by La Montre Hermès of reinforcing its development of watchmaking expertise,” the company stated.

The company’s supply chain has been suffering from a production bottleneck in recent months due to high demand for luxury watches in emerging markets, as reported. In September 2011, La Montre Hermès acquired a 32.5 percent stake of Swiss watch case maker Joseph Erard Holding.
