LONDON – Patriksson Communication, a fashion and lifestyle communications agency with offices in Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen, has taken a majority stake in the fashion and communications agency Relative MO Ltd., which is part of Saturday Group. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In a statement Tuesday, Patriksson said it will now take over the day to day running of Relative’s Paris-based agency RMO, and plans to re-introduce a Relative MO business to London next year. Relative MO and RMO will soon be known as PRC, combining Patriksson and Relative’s initials. RMO Wetherly, the New York firm created last year when RMO joined with Wetherly Fashion Group in the U.S., is not included in the deal, but PRC will work “in close collaboration” with the office, a Patriksson spokeswoman said.
Patriksson and Saturday Group said in the statement that with the deal, they are jointly creating “a new pan-European communication agency network within the fashion and lifestyle segment.” PRC’s board of directors will be made up of Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson from Saturday Group Ltd., along with Lena Patriksson Keller, Hanna Renlund Westberg and Annika Kopp from Patriksson Communication AB.
Patriksson Keller, owner and chairman of Patriksson Communication said: “We have been in discussions with Saturday Group and together we see large synergies and opportunities with the new network we now form.” Grede, owner and chairman of Saturday Group added: “Patriksson Communication has unique skills and experience in running PR and communication agency operations within the fashion and lifestyle segment. Together with our fashion marketing expertise and our international network we become a very strong player.”
