Thymes and DPM Fragrance have merged to form Curio, a new platform in the prestige bath, body and fragrance market.

Terms of the merger were not disclosed. Curio will continue to market products under its brands Thyme, Aspen Bay Candles and Capri Blue. Aspen Bay and Capri Blue are the brand that were under the DPM Fragrance umbrella.

Thymes has been focused on expanding the firm’s footprint. It received a major investment in December 2014 by Castanea Partners, RCP, Stanfield Capital and Northstar. Anne Sempowski Ward will continue on as chief executive officer of Curio.

Ward said, “With Thymes’ strength in bath and body and seasonal home fragrance and DMP’s strength in candles and everyday home fragrance, we now have a complete portfolio of unique and award-winning fragrance brands and expertise. Together, we are able to vertically integrate and holistically serve a wide range of specialty retailers in the U.S. and globally.

Tom Reed, founder of DPM, has joined the board of Curio.
