Dsquared2’s first outlet is expected to open its doors early next month at the San Francisco Premium Outlets in Livermore, Calif.
The center, which opened in 2012, nabbed the Italian label to add to its roster of exclusive outlet retailers, which also includes the only Michael Stars outlet and the sole Bloomingdale’s The Outlet in the state.
The update on the Dsquared2 door comes as the Simon Property Group-owned center nears completion on a 185,000-square-foot expansion that will bring the mall’s total size to 696,000. Construction is expected to be complete by the holidays.
The additional space also comes with more retailers.
Gucci, Versace, Tod’s, Ted Baker, Bally, CH Carolina Herrera, Roger Vivier, All Saints, Sarar and A|X Armani Exchange are among the raft of tenants to have opened their doors there in recent weeks.
Other retailers set to open up shop in the coming months include Bebe, Zadig et Voltaire and The North Face.
San Francisco is one in a handful of significant development projects for Simon Property in the West Coast region.
Simon earlier this year completed the 140,000-square-foot expansion of the Las Vegas North Premium Outlets, which counts tenants such as Burberry, St. John, Tory Burch and Salvatore Ferragamo.
A renovation is nearing completion on the Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto, Calif.
Work is also wrapping on the second phase of a major redo on the Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, Calif., located in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County. Del Amo represents one of the largest projects in terms of investment within the Simon portfolio and the facelift helped the center nab a 140,000-square-foot Nordstrom, which relocated from the South Bay Galleria.
