Jeff Zeigler has been named chief operating officer of Starwood Retail Partners.
Michael Glimcher, chief executive officer of Starwood Retail Partners, said Zeigler has “deep expertise in both leasing and development” positioning him to assist in executing plans to create “multifaceted centers that will become the cores of their communities.”
Zeigler has more than 25 years of real estate experience, with specialization in retail development and leasing. During his career, he has been involved in the development, leasing and management of regional malls, grocery-anchored strip centers, big-box promotional centers and mixed-use projects.
“I’m looking forward to working with Michael and our team to reinvent the experience we bring to our guests as we add new uses, today’s critical retailers to our centers, and new programs to engage our audiences,” Zeigler said.
Prior to joining Starwood Retail Partners, Zeigler was senior managing director of retail services at Oliver McMillan and a member of the firm’s executive committee. Earlier he was a partner at Continental Real Estate and Steiner & Associates. He also served as senior vice president of leasing at The Westfield Group and The Herring Group.
Owned by Starwood Capital Group, Starwood Retail Partners has 30 malls and lifestyle centers in 16 states.
