Kimberly Sherman Stamler has been promoted to president of Related Beal, an affiliate of Related Companies focuses on real estate development and investment opportunities in the Boston area.
Stamler will be responsible for the overall management of the firm, and will spearhead new development, deal and financing activities in the Boston area. She will continue to work closely with Related Beal’s chairman, Bruce Beal Sr. She joined Related Beal in August 2014 as chief operating officer after working in Related’s New York office since 1999.
“We are currently undertaking some of the most exciting developments in Boston and I look forward to continuing to work with all of our public and private sector partners to positively impact our city,” Sherman Stamler said. She will also continue to work closely with Related’s chief executive officer Jeff Blau and Related’s president Bruce Beal Jr.
Among her accomplishments, Sherman Stamler worked on conceptualizing and financing Parcel 1B, a large affordable housing development in Boston, the Quinzani Bakery site acquisition in the South End and the execution and management of Related Fund Management deals including The Arlington in the Back Bay. Through her career she has been responsible for more than $2 billion in development in virtually every sector of the real estate industry—acquisitions, financing and development execution, with oversight on leasing, marketing and sales.
Related Beal and is developing some high-profile properties including The Clarendon and One Back Bay, Congress Square and the Quinzani Bakery site in the South End of Boston.
