MUMBAI VENTURE: Versace Home is heading to India’s financial capital, Mumbai, to collaborate on a new real estate project at Hughes Road in one of the city’s main business areas.

Luxury real estate developer Abil Group tapped the Italian brand to design the interiors of Abil Mansion, a 32-story skyscraper, which will feature nine exclusive duplexes and one simplex, all spanning over two levels. Indian architect Hafeez Contractor designed the tower’s facade.

Due for completion by 2019, each unit will feature four or five bedrooms, spread over 8,000 square feet. Amenities will include a double height lobby, an infinity-edge swimming pool, gym, steam room, hot tub, massage and spa rooms, as well as a rooftop garden and juice bar located on the 32nd floor.

“We are happy to bring one of the biggest names in luxury living to our country with Abil Mansion,” said Amit Bhosale, managing director of Abil Group. “Our association with Versace Home will set a new standard for uberluxe living in Mumbai with Abil Mansion offering views of the Queen’s Necklace and the Arabian Sea.”

“Every aspect of Abil Mansion bears the distinctive touch of the Versace Home brand — cutting-edge design, incredible attention to detail and an obsession with perfection,” said Gian Giacomo Ferraris, chief executive officer of Versace. “We look forward to creating a unique, luxurious property of which we all can be extremely proud.”

Abil Mansion is not the only real estate project on Versace’s agenda. The Aykon Nine Elms project in London, currently under construction, is expected to be completed in 2020. Versace Home also conceived the interior design of the Milano Residences in Manila, Al Jawharah Residences in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Beirut’s Damac Tower.
