GREEN SHOOTS: Anthropologie is expanding its presence in France.


Having debuted with a corner at the BHV department store in Paris in September 2014, the U.S. retailer plans two more openings in the next few months and will launch a French version of its Web site in summer.


The label, known for its bohemian-chic clothing and home wares, will open a 650-square-foot corner at Galerie Lafayette’s Boulevard Haussmann flagship on March 9. It will launch with an exhibition by Parisian artist Florence Balducci, a longtime friend and collaborator of the brand.


A third corner, spanning 430 square feet, will open at Galeries Lafayette in Nice in April. It will feature mainly ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories with a smattering of home wares, in a setting inspired by spring featuring various shades of green.
