Robert Talbott will open a shop-in-shop at the Ascot Shop, a specialty store in San Diego, on Thursday. This marks the third in-store shop the brand has opened this year.
The 690-square-foot space will offer outerwear, knitwear, trousers, suits, and dress shirts as well neckwear. The space is designed to reflect the brand’s origins in the Monterey Peninsula of California and features large images of the coastline, dark hardwood floors and Carmel stone.
“We plan to continue to [partner] with additional leading men’s wear specialty stores to open Robert Talbott shop-in-shops in the coming months,” said Bob Corliss, president and chief executive officer of Robert Talbott.
A private event is scheduled for Thursday with wines from Talbott Vineyards and a Monterey tie-maker on hand to construct seven-fold ties.
The other two Talbott shops are in Carroll & Co. in Beverly Hills and Avant for Men in Highland Park, Ill.
