Two Barneys Co-Op units will close next year, in the Houston Galleria in January and the Westchester Mall in White Plains, New York in late February or March, according to sources. However, while examining more closely the performance of its stores, the Co-Op chain, which specializes in denim, contemporary and emerging designers, still has an eye for growth with the opening of a Co-Op unit in Brooklyn, at 194 Atlantic Avenue, scheduled for Oct. 14. In August, a Co-Op opened in Santa Monica Place in Los Angeles.
