Continuing with its string of digital firsts, Burberry will today launch an app on Apple TV.
Tied to the comoany’s men’s runway show Monday, the London-based brand will become the first in the fashion space to livestream a show on the platform. Musician Benjamin Clementine will do a live performance at the show, which will take place at Kensington Gardens at 8 a.m.EST/1 p.m. GMT.
In addition to the transmission of the runway show, the Burberry app for Apple TV will give users access to a range of the brand’s Acoustic Films, including concerts from British artists (Lilla Vargen, Jacob & Goliath and Shannon Wardrop among them); video from previous runway shows, and make-up tutorials taught by Wendy Rowe, an artistic consultant for Burberry Make-up. How-to’s range from contouring and strobing lessons to how to achieve “modern smokey eyes.”
Last September, Burberry was the first brand to debut an Apple Music channel.
