Charles Jayson, vice president, general merchandise manager of ready-to-wear and fragrance at Sears Holdings Corp., has resigned.
Jayson had been in the role for a little over a year, working in San Francisco. His duties included leading all women’s sportswear products for the 750 Sears stores. Before that he was president of The Judith Ripka Cos. for six years and prior to that was president and chief executive officer of Andrew Marc Inc. for a year. Earlier, he was president and ceo of Dickson North America Inc. for seven years.
A Sears spokesman confirmed Jayson’s departure and said she would provide details about his replacement soon.
Jayson wasn’t available for comment on his next move.
