Eddie Bauer has a long history in workwear and the outdoor brand is planning to mine that history through a new license with Global Action Group.
Global Action Group, a manufacturer of performance-based workwear, has signed a license with Eddie Bauer to design, manufacture and sell a workwear collection for men and women. The assortment will include outerwear, tops, fleece, bibs and jeans featuring performance treatments such as stain resistance and water resistance properties.
Fabrics will include heavyweight canvas, flannel, twill, chamois and rip-stop in solids and classic Eddie Bauer plaids in woven shirts, with utilitarian details such as pencil-pockets, and gusseted arms vents for extra movement. Other pieces will include hoodies and sweatshirts, graphic Ts and waffle henleys.
Retail prices range from $14.99 to $19.99 for long-sleeve Ts to $99 to $129 for duck jackets and bibs. The collection will launch for fall 2020 and will be sold at department, sporting goods and farm stores.
Doug Marchisello, president of Global Action Group, will oversee design, sales and marketing initiatives, Indus Apparel will be responsible for manufacturing and TSI will handle operations, warehousing and finances.
Eddie Bauer and Pacific Sunwear of California are owned by PSEB Group, a separate operating company created by Golden Gate Capital in 2018.
