PARIS — Groupe Galeries Lafayette has named Daphné de Jenlis as chief executive officer of its watches division, in charge of the Louis Pion, Royal Quartz and Augis 1830 brands, effective since Monday. She succeeds Eric Faye in the post.


A graduate of French business school ESSEC, de Jenlis joined Galeries Lafayette from McKinsey & Co. in 2008 as head of strategic planning. In 2011, she was named deputy buying director for women, then deputy buying director for accessories in May 2013.


She reports to Groupe Galeries Lafayette ceo Philippe Houzé.
