PARIS — Carré Sénart is getting a new anchor.
The French shopping center in Seine-et-Marne, just south of Paris, has signed Galeries Lafayette as a new tenant.
The department store is slated to open doors in 2018.
Mirroring a global trend, Carré Sénart is going through an expansion phase, adding 39,000 square meters to its current surface, of which 6,000 square meters, stretching over two levels, is to be occupied by Galeries Lafayette.
The department store is to propose a broad range of products from accessible to high-end end brands, including men’s wear, women’s wear, accessories, beauty and lingerie.
Galeries Lafayette currently counts 64 units, of which 59 are located in France.
