PARIS — Hennes & Mauritz AB said total sales in local currencies rose 16 percent in July, a faster pace than previous months.
The Swedish fashion retailer provided only a percentage figure, and no longer breaks out same-store sales data. Total sales include value-added taxes.
In June, sales rose 14 percent compared to a 10 percent improvement in both May and April.
H&M noted its store count came to 3,649 on July 31 versus 3,314 on the same date in 2014.
The company is to report sales for August and the third quarter on Sept. 15, and profits on Sept. 24.
