Holly Pressman, 59, who was involved in the Barneys New York business when she was previously married to Robert Pressman, former co-chief executive officer of Barneys and current investment banker, died of cancer Sunday.
Holly Pressman was Barneys’ vice president of business events from 1984 to 1999, during which time she oversaw the corporate gift program. Before joining Barneys, she was an investment counselor at Morgan Stanley and an investment officer at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management.
More recently, Pressman cofounded finlit.com in 2010, which helps young people get better at dealing with money.
Pressman was a graduate of Tufts University with an MBA from New York University.
She is survived by her mother, Joan Fredrick; children Edmund, William and Meghan Pressman; sister Nancylee Matles; brother E.J. Fredrick, and husband Peter Goldman, whom she married in 2005.
Services will be held at Temple Sholom in Greenwich, Conn., on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
