NEW DELHI — DLF Emporio mall, India’s first luxury mall in the capital city, will stay open until midnight on Thursday for Fashion’s Night Out.

More than 60 luxury brands will welcome shoppers to the mall, which opened last year to cater to Indians’ growing taste for designer goods. The vast marble and glass building, located in south Delhi, houses more than 75 international brands, and a dozen top Indian designers. While Burberry will tempt shoppers with British-themed canapés and cocktails, Indian designer Malini Ramani will conduct tarot readings in her boutique. There will be Champagne and makeovers from Christian Dior and styling sessions for men from Ermenegildo Zegna.

Two leading Indian fashion designers, JJ Valaya and Raghavendra Rathore, will “dress up” Mercedes-Benz cars on show at the mall. Prizes from the evening’s drawing will include shoes from Jimmy Choo’s spring-summer collection, a Lady Dior bag and a sari from Tarun Tahiliani. Profits will go to Women IndiaBuilds, a project by Habitat for Humanity that allows women around the world to help impoverished Indian women.
