Kohl’s Corp., which has made active and wellness a cornerstone with brands such as Nike, Fitbit, Columbia, Gaiam, Fila, Fila Sport and a partnership with Under Armour bowing in the spring, said Friday that it has named seven ambassadors to serve on an active and wellness panel.

Each of the ambassadors will deliver tips and expert advice in their respective fitness and wellness fields to motivate families to get active together. The content, which will be shared on ambassadors’ social media channels, will include healthy recipes, product recommendations, workout routines and wellness advice.

Participating influencers include Tone It Up’s Karena Dawn and Katrina Scott, who will offer nutrition tips, recipes and workouts; Bob Harper, personal trainer and host of NBC’s “The Biggest Loser,” will provide ideas for enjoying the outdoors; Kevin Curry, founder of Fit Men Cook, easy recipes and cooking demonstrations healthy and delicious meals; Sophie Jaffe, tips for families looking for balance in their lives; Jordan Younger, guidance and tips for healthy eating, and Alicia Archer, new ways go get moving, from the yoga studio to neighborhood park.

“The ambassadors’ tips will educate families on how they can utilize Kohl’s as a resource for healthy eating, exercising, outdoor activities, and more,” said Kohl’s. “Additional interaction will include Facebook Live feeds, in-person workouts and demonstrations, which will allow Kohl’s to connect customers to inspiring information through multiple touch points.”

Gass said Kohl’s customers will become familiar with the ambassadors through a direct-mail piece, Kohls.com presence, dedicated e-mails and in-person activations.
