Lands’ End creeped into the black by posting net income of $200,000 for the third quarter ended Oct. 27, versus a net loss of $7.2 million in the year-ago quarter.

Revenues rose 4.5 percent to $325.5 million in the last quarter from $311.5 million in the year-ago quarter.

“We were pleased with the continued momentum in our business in the third quarter which carried through the Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday period,” said Jerome Griffith, chief executive officer. “For the third quarter we grew revenue, expanded gross margin, and significantly increased profitability.”
